We are looking for a hands-on Workshop Manager with a strong technical background in pumps and gearboxes. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily workshop operations, managing technical staff, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and liaising with clients and suppliers.

The role is based in Yatala however assisted relocation is avaialbe to secure a great candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
•Manage and supervise all workshop activities including repair, assembly, and testing of pumps, gearboxes, and associated equipment.
•Lead and develop a team of technicians and fitters.
•Carry out diagnostics and troubleshooting on mechanical faults.
•Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
•Liaise with customers to provide technical advice and project updates.
•Manage job scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow to meet deadlines.
•Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and inventory.
•Monitor job costing, productivity, and report on workshop performance.

Requirements:
•Proven experience in a similar role within the rotating equipment, pumps, or gearbox industry.
•Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, including pump and gearbox repairs.
•Experience in managing teams and workshop operations.
•Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
•Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
•Health & Safety awareness.
