Position Overview:
As a Personal Care Worker with our agency, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality care and support to individuals in healthcare and aged care settings. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily activities, providing emotional support, and ensuring that patients and residents receive the care they need with dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients and residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support mobility and transfers, including the use of mobility aids and equipment.
• Monitor and report changes in patients' or residents' physical and emotional condition to healthcare staff.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of patients and residents.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by following hygiene and infection control protocols.
• Document care activities and update patient or resident records as required.
  

Requirements:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a caring and empathetic approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to travel to and work at various facilities.
• Willingness to accept shifts on short notice.

Essential Requirements:

• Individual Support Certificate or equivalent
• National Police Check
• Up-to-date Influenza Vaccination
• 3 COVID Vaccinations
