We are looking for a experienced Quaility Control Officer to join our clients team in the North Western Suburbs!

Responsinilites;
Ensure compliance with ISO 22000 food safety management system and implement ongoing improvements where necessary.
Ensure that all products comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Collaborate with the production team to prevent nonconforming and/or unauthorised products from shipping to customers.
Create and execute quality plans, inspection and test plans, test cases, and test scripts specific to plastic packaging.
Provide training and guidance to production personnel on quality standards and procedures.
Continuously improve QA processes and practices specific to plastic packaging.
Ensure inspection tools are in good condition and properly calibrated by maintaining an effective calibration program.
Document and report testing outcomes and quality metrics.
Analyse and interpret quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, including preparation of statistical evaluations.
Ensure adherence to work health and safety guidelines and offer suggestions to improve workplace safety.

Requirments;
3 years minimum experience in a QA-related field.
Tertiary qualification in Quality Assurance or related fields.
Previous working knowledge of quality management systems.
Working knowledge of plastic packaging products.
Good customer focus.
Sharp attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Great team player with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Proficient in MS Office.
