Based in Moorabbin, our client is an industry leader in the Circular Economy through packaging, reuse and recycling solutions. They operate 110 manufacturing facilities across 15 countries, and their customers include some of the world's largest brands that consumers know and trust.
Working in a modern and clean facility with the latest technology and equipment, this is a great opportunity to showcase you proven and highly regarded skills working as a Tooling Maintenance Technician.
The key activity for this facility is Plastic Moulding of Food Grade packaging containers
The role is about working with Shift Team leaders and the Production leaders to ensure the day-to-day running of the production department by completing die changes based on production schedules, setting up ancillary equipment, servicing equipment and tooling.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
Setting, adjusting and maintaining tools and equipment to ensure continuity of the day-to-day operations and production requirements.
Where required machine/make parts and tools.
Ensure good housekeeping standards within the plant at all times.
Successful candidates must have the right to live and work in Australia.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A relevant Trade qualification.
A keen eye for detail
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Enjoy working in a team environment
Experience in the plastic manufacturing or related industry will be well regarded
