Warehouse Assistant / forklift driver

Our client is one of Australia's leading manufacturers of Protective packaging and cold chain solutions. Operating out of a state of the art facility in South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne. They Currently have an opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Assistant to join a fast paced experienced Team.

The Role:

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and passionate about working in a warehouse environment. The successful person will have drive, initiative and an ambition to succeed.

Duties include:
•Picking, packing and dispatch of customer orders
•Manual Handling of goods
•Conducting sorting, loading, and unloading of vehicle
•General Housekeeping duties
•Maintain accuracy of warehouse stock through cycle courts and stocktake
•Liaising with transport provide and relevant personnel to ensure smooth dispatch and delivery of products


Qualifications & Experience
•3 years experience in a similar role
•Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal including liasing with suppliers
•Experience in receipting in goods within a fast paced warehousing environment
•Current Forklift Licence
•Intermediate computer and Microsoft office skills
•Dedicated, reliable and committed with a strong work ethic
•High attention to detail
•Initiative
