Our client is an Australian-owned company committed to creating a wasteless society by recycling and recovering resources from waste.

There growing their team in Hallam and are looking for a skilled Maintenance Fitter to support the high-performing Materials Recovery Facility (MRF).

This role starts casual with the strong view to permanent.

About the Role
As a Maintenance Fitter, you'll be working on large-scale recycling machinery including conveyors, sorters, crushers and extruders.
You'll be responsible for keeping our plant running safely and efficiently through:
•Preventative maintenance of heavy machinery
•Diagnostics and fault finding
•Supporting the daily running of equipment
•Identifying process improvements
•Maintaining a strong focus on safety and OHS compliance


About You
•Trade qualification (Certificate III Engineering Mechanical Trade) preferred but not essential
•Previous fitting experience in recycling, waste, or heavy industry highly regarded
•Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
•Committed to safe and high-quality work practices
•Excellent communication and teamwork skills
