Night Shift Role

This is a great opportunity to work with a Global Leader based in Mordialloc

We are looking for Machine Operators to assist in the day-to-day production operations on a designated night shift, whilst optimizing outputs and ensuring all efforts are aimed towards the achievment of KPI's and Goals. Working within a positive team environment, this position will collaborate in the positions focus of producing quality and efficient practice.

Responsibilities include:
Follow Standard Operating Procedures when handling plant equipment.
Carry out manufacturing procedures safely and efficiently.
Weighing and pre-paring materials from batch cards.
Basic QC testing for assessing quality and spec of granule output during processing.
Mixing and extruding of materials.
Bagging, weighing and recording movement of finished goods.
Operating Extruders.
Attending required toolbox meetings, and scheduled production training sessions.
Lifting (at chest level) 10/15/25 kg bags and loading onto pallets.

Skills, Experience and Attributes:
Experience in a processing or manufacturing environment, preferably in the plastics industry.
Experience in weighing and mixing additives or chemicals is preferred.
An understanding of quality control (QC) and basic QC testing.
Experience operating a forklift is ESSENTIAL.
