We're looking for a skilled and dependable Maintenance Fitter to take charge of night shift operations at our fast-paced food processing facility. This is a full-time, hands-on role perfect for a mechanically minded individual with solid experience in food or beverage manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and breakdown maintenance on a range of processing equipment, including ovens, mixers, conveyors, and packing machines

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults, ensuring minimal downtime

Work independently during night shifts, with support from the day team as needed

Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with food safety and industry standards

Maintain clear, accurate records of repairs and preventive maintenance

About You:
Trade-qualified Fitter with relevant certifications (e.g. Cert III in Engineering Mechanical Trade)

Experience in food or beverage manufacturing highly regarded

Strong mechanical aptitude, especially with high-speed production equipment

Comfortable working autonomously on night shifts

Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and general food safety protocols

Proactive approach to troubleshooting with a strong eye for detail
