We're looking for a Workshop Supervisor to lead our clients skilled team of mechanics and ensure their fleet stays on the road, running safely and efficiently.

As the Workshop Supervisor, you'll oversee daily workshop operations, coordinate repair and maintenance schedules, and lead a team of diesel mechanics and apprentices
You'll play a key role in maintaining our fleet of heavy vehicles and ensuring work is completed to high standards and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support workshop staff, ensuring a productive and safe working environment.
Schedule and coordinate maintenance, servicing, and repairs for all fleet vehicles
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues on heavy diesel vehicles.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies.
Maintain accurate service records and manage parts inventory.
Liaise with depot and fleet managers to prioritise urgent jobs and reduce downtime.
Provide training, mentoring, and performance feedback to the team.
About You
Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic (Certificate III or equivalent)
Minimum 5 years' hands-on experience with heavy vehicles (Kenworth, Volvo, Mack, etc.).
Previous supervisory or team leader experience highly regarded.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Sound understanding of OH&S requirements in a workshop environment.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
